The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed with regard to the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider level created for intervention activities a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
